The Durham Art Guild presents their 2023 member’s showcase where the LED piece “Queen” is on display.

The Durham Art Guild selected BAN Artwork’s piece “Beautiful Chaos” for their 68th Annual Juried Exhibition. The event runs from October to December 2022 at the Truist Gallery in downtown Durham, NC. Receptions will be held on October 21st and November 18th from 6-8pm, as well as a Juror Lecture on November 4th from 6-7pm.

Burning Man is an event focused on community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance held annually in Black Rock City, Nevada. I had the amazing opportunity to have my art included in the event. I designed the camp sign for Gigsville and created a tooth cane for my own self expression.

Pop Box Gallery is a zero-commission art gallery currently in residence in Research Triangle Park - the center of innovation and discovery in North America. For our final exhibition in our gallery space at Boxyard RTP we are highlighting the incredible creative and artistic talent in the greater Triangle area with a group show called PROTOTYPE.

Why do we prototype? To validate and/or communicate an idea. To advocate. But also to unlock creativity.

With the PROTOTYPE exhibition, Pop Box Gallery challenged Triangle area artists to do all those things with each of the artists beginning with the same form - a pentaprism.

41 Triangle-based artists responded with 41 unique works of art in a variety of media. All work is priced at $50, $250, or $500 and will be available for purchase at the Collector’s preview event on Wednesday, May 4 and on our final day at Boxyard RTP on May 7, 12-6pm.

PROTOTYPE is a collaboration between Pop Box Gallery, Folded Poetry, and Hangar6.

Portrait Mode responds to two years of mediated interactions through screens, behind masks, in isolation, and at a distance through the work of twelve Triangle-based artists. The exhibition offers a window into new perspectives on ourselves and each other.

The exhibit will be held at the Pop Box Gallery, a new venture by Mavis Gragg and Laura Ritchie through the Pop Box Program . As co-curators, Mavis and Laura invite visitors to contemplate, through art, what is happening in the world. Pop Box Gallery’s format will spark new ideas about where art can be and who can access it, providing a platform that will connect new communities of artists, audiences, and collaborators. My work will be displayed in a group exhibition, focused on the idea of portraits.

Three of my LED/Digital mixed media pieces will be on display from February 18th through March 12th, 2022. Open hours are Wednesday - Saturday noon-6pm and during events. The opening reception will be held on Saturday February 19th from 3-6pm, a portrait panel discussion co-hosted by Duke and Durham Art Guild (virtual) will be held on Thursday March 3rd from 6:30-8pm, a slow art tour of the exhibit with Gail Belvett will be held on Saturday March 5th at 3pm, and the closing reception wo;; be held on Saturday, March 12th from 3-6pm.

My rotatable interactive art installation is officially up at the Fruit and can be viewed at any of their events throughout the year. It is a permanent installation so come check it out anytime and give it a spin ;)

Oddville is a party of legend, brought eastward from San Francisco by a couple 'burners who have a genius for curating the funky, weird, bizarre... you get the picture. My artwork will be up on display at my art studio, currently a part of the Outer Loop Arts collective space in Durham, NC. Come check out my work during daytime business hours and you might just catch me working there too!

The female owned Killer Queen wine bar commissioned me to complete three LED/Digital mixed media pieces and an LED sign for their new space in Durham, NC. These works will be on permanent display in their wine bar and restaurant. Come by anytime during their open hours to enjoy my work and some delicious wine.

My print artwork will be on display at The Oak House in Durham, NC for my solo exhibition over the course of two months. The work is available to view during the Oak House’s regular operating hours.
